Another useless herbal ‘treatment’

According to the BBC News, a recent six-month trial by Imperial College London researchers found that Ginkgo biloba, taken by an estimated 10% of people with dementia, found no difference between the herb and a placebo, and no evidence that the standard dose had any effect on memory or quality of life. The results are published in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry (see here for abstract and pdf full text).
