Internet War

[Warning: some pages linked to in this post are NSFW]
No, I’m not talking about the recent articles discussing cyber-warfare. I’m talking about “Project Chanology,” the effort by “hackers on steroidsAnonymous (otherwise known as those who hang out on places like the colon of the Internet*) to take on the Church of Scientology (CoS) for its often execrable tactics in attempting to squelch criticism.
Already, we’ve seen a Google bomb linking the words “dangerous cult” to the CoS website. The big day, though, is planned to be the 10th of this month. We’ll see what happens then, and if Anonymous can deliver. Just remember, Anonymous does not forgive, Anonymous does not forget; and watch for exploding vans.

* I refer to it as such because what passes through is mostly, but not yet entirely, well, you know.
