Faith Healing and Children

The Wall Street Journal has an article about how the Neumann case and others like it have begun a push towards rolling back religious healing exemptions in child neglect laws. Mentioned in the article is Children’s Healthcare Is a Legal Duty (CHILD, Inc.), a nationwide non-profit organization that has been working to “protect children from abusive religious and cultural practices, especially religion-based medical neglect” since 1983. I, for one, wish them success in this endeavor.
