Tamoxifen Resistance Unraveled?

Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute scientists may have found the key to predicting which women will or won’t respond to breast cancer treatment drug Tamoxifen. In particular, the competition between two signalling molecules, PAX2 and AIB-1, to switch on or off the HER2 gene appears to control whether a patient will respond to the drug.
